Appeals
Effective October 11, 2026 · Belnoir is operated by Belvista Digital Solutions LLC
Draft: this document is being reviewed by a lawyer and may change before Belnoir opens.
We review every piece of content before it goes live and act on reports, and sometimes we'll get a decision wrong. If you think we did, you can ask us to look again. This page explains how. The rules behind it are in Section 13.3 of the Terms of Service.
What You Can Appeal
- content we rejected in review, or removed after it went live;
- a warning, strike, restriction, suspension or account deactivation;
- a payout we held or withheld; and
- our decision on something you reported.
What Can't Be Appealed
Decisions about content involving anyone under 18, content that matches known child sexual abuse material, and matters we've reported to law enforcement or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children are final. So is the outcome of an appeal.
How to Appeal
- If you can sign in: open the message about the decision in Settings → Account Messages and choose Appeal This Decision, or go to Settings → Appeals. Tell us why you think we got it wrong and anything we may have missed.
- If you can't sign in (for example, your account was deactivated): email [email protected] from the email address on your account.
- If you reported something: email [email protected] with your report reference number.
Please appeal within 30 days of the decision. Each decision can be appealed once.
What Happens Next
- A member of our Trust & Safety team who wasn't involved in the original decision reviews your appeal, wherever that's possible.
- They look at the original decision, the content or activity involved, our policies, and what you've told us.
- We aim to reply within 14 days, in Account Messages (or by email if you wrote to us).
- If your appeal succeeds, we reverse the decision: any strike is removed, and we restore your content or access where we can. If it doesn't, we'll explain why.
Appealing doesn't affect any other rights you have under the Terms of Service. For copyright removals, use the counter-notice process on our copyright page instead. Questions? Contact [email protected].
